FAQ

What sizes do you offer?
Our pet portraits come in 3 sizes, 8 x 10", 12 x 16" & 18 x 24". We also offer phone cases for most devices! If you are looking for something outside these sizes let us know and we'll see what we can do.

What paper do you use?
We use museum grade fine art for all our custom pet portraits. Our paper and print capabilities enable us to use a full colour gamut, meaning high dynamic range and a vibrant end product. We pride ourselves on our industry leading design, print and paper quality.

What pets do you accept?
We don’t just do custom dog portraits; we can create artworks for all types of pets, including cat portraits, horses, rabbits, chickens. The possibilities are endless!

How long will it take to receive my portrait?
All portraits are printed in Canada meaning you won’t need to wait 2 months to get your portrait. Our typical dispatch time is 7 business days after creating an order. If you want it sooner we can also help out with digital prints, just get in touch.

Am I able to download the pet portrait design? 
We offer digital download option for all our pet portraits, see here for more details. 

Can I have multiple pets in one artwork?
Yes! We can include up to three pets per portrait, just select our three-pet portrait option.

Paint My Pooch’s customer service is exceptional. They were incredibly responsive to questions and even reached out without prompting to see which of the two phone cases I intended the tougher case to be for. The phone cases are great quality and the portrait of my dog and my mums dog are spot on. They even captured the little nuances like our Bernese Mountain dogs’ bottom lip that is two colours. Amazing attention to detail. Really impressed by the pet portrait, especially as a first time buyer. I would highly recommend.
